Update on Clinical Topics in Antiretroviral Therapy workshop

Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site, Barcelona, Spain

Thursday 28th and Friday 29th May 2020

After three decades of antiretroviral therapy, HIV has changed from being a lethal disease to a chronic condition,
mostly due to drastic improvements in antiretrovirals. In a constantly evolving field, understanding the drug interactions, the clinical pharmacology and having up-to-date information on clinical practices is essential for designing optimal treatment strategies leading to better treatment outcomes.

The objective of the Update on Clinical Topics in Antiretroviral Therapy workshop is to update and review the latest practices in the field of antiretroviral treatment from a theoretical, practical and interactive perspective and it is aimed at an audience of HIV and infectious diseases healthcare professionals and researchers. The 2020 would be its third edition which builds on the success of its two previous editions and incorporates new elements from the feedback received from attendees and faculty, as well as new topics from new trend in the HIV field.
