This year, the annual meeting Update on Clinical Topics in Antiretroviral Therapy workshop will be offered as a hybrid program. 
Registered participants for the virtual format will receive a username and a password as well as the instructions to access the platform 24h prior to the event.

If you registered for the face-to-face format and you are unable to attend the conference or if you registered for the virtual format and you would like to attend in person, please let the conference secretariat know at  before September 15th.

The workshop organisation will provide a certificate of attendance after completing a feedback form.

Clinical Topics in Antiretroviral Therapy workshop (4th Edition) has been submitted for accreditation by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide CME credits for medical specialists.

The workshop will be held in English and simultaneous Spanish tranlation will be available.

This workshop aims to provide participants with the opportunity to openly discuss their current work and discoveries in an educational environment. The workshop does not accept any liability for any scientific content of the session or for any claims that result from publications with information shared in this workshop. The organisation disclaims all liability for injuries or any type of losses incurred by individuals attending this workshop, as well as, any charges associated with last minute cancellations due to unexpected circumstances.

An official invitation letter can be issued by the Workshop Secretariat to help demonstrate registration to the workshop and help overcome any administrative difficulties posed. The letters will only be issued once your registration has been made and only if requested.

Registration to this workshop is free of charge but registration is required.

Registration to follow the event by streaming will be available until the day before the event, while face-to-face registration will remain open until the maximum capacity of the venue is reached.


From FLS-Science, we are following the instructions from the authorities on a daily basis in order to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants while maintaining our commitment to provide high-quality educational programs. Thus, the workshop will adopt the hygienic measures required.

  • Health checks such as temperature screening will be conducted.
  • Ventilation systems will be operated to increase circulation of outdoor air as much as possible, for example, by opening windows and doors.
  • The seating layout will be changed  so that attendees can remain at least 1,5 meters apart.
  • Shared indoor spaces will be cleaned and disinfected between uses.
  • Individually plated meals and grab-and-go options will be served during the coffee and lunch breaks, and will be hold in separate areas.
  • Disposable food service items including utensils and dishes will be used.

Recommendations for participants:

  • Wear a mask over your nose and mouth
  • Stay 1,5 meters from others and avoid crowds
  • Avoid greeting others with physical contact (for example, handshakes)
  • Wash your hands often or use hand sanitizer
  • Stay at home if you have tested positive for COVID-19, are waiting for COVID-19 test results, have COVID-19 symptoms, or if you have had close contact with a person who has tested positive for or who has symptoms of COVID-19.
